Pozsonyi kifli (Pozsony is the Hungarian name of Bratislava, capital city of the Slovak Republic) are crescent shaped sweet leavened pastries filled with a sweet walnut or poppy paste. They are a variety of beigli, very similar in flavor but different in shape and size.
If you are an adventurous cook, you can dig in and make Pozsonyi kifli. But if you would like the special treat without the fuss of baking, email firstname.lastname@example.org (subject: pozsonyi kifli) if you are interested in purchasing some.
