Greetings!

Welcome to the Magyar Marketing Newsletter!

Our goal is to help you get connected or stay connected with the Hungarian heritage! The most common, unifying characteristic of our readership is they are Hungarian or love someone who is. Our customers come from a very wide variety of places; some were born and Hungary and came to the US many years ago, some have recently come to the US and still others have never lived in the US but reside in Hungary, Canada, Australia, Sweden, UK, etc. While you might learn a little something about being Hungarian from us, I am quite sure we have much more to learn from you and we definitely all have a lot to learn from one another. There are many ways to deepen your understanding of Hungarian language, culture, history, music, contributions, etc. We hope you are involved in a Hungarian club, church or organization and can discover, celebrate, and share these experiences with those around you. Whether you are young or old, you can truly spend a lifetime learning about the many aspects of Hungarian ancestry! It’s a fascinating journey!

August 4th Taste of Hungary ~ Chicago

August 4th is the date for another delicious Hungarian event put on by The Chicago Hungarian Society. While we have not attended Taste of Hungary ~ Chicago we have been impressed by the Gulyás Festival we have been a part of for two years. This is a diverse and friendly group and they sure know how to cook! Get there if you can!!!

August 18 & 19 Birmingham Ethnic Festival ~ Toledo, OH

We will be at the 38th Annual Birmingham Ethnic Festival in Toledo, OH on August 18 & 19. Stop in to say hello! We will be having some special sales! Both days the festival begins at noon and runs until 10:00 PM on Sat. and 9:00 PM on Sunday. Hungarian Bible Project Update

The Hungarian Bibles for Children and other books were paid for and delivered within 48 hours of us arriving in Hungary. Thank you to all who participated through prayer, purchases during the time leading up to our trip, and/or straight donations. You can read more here…

Embroidery from Hungary

We have a limited number of table cloths, table runners, men’s embroidered vests, ladies embroidered blouses, and children’s embroidered vests and blouses. We will not be posting them on the website due to the limited quantities but you can call or email about sizes and prices.
