Etched Easter Egg
The Decorated Egg is considered to the symbol of eternal friendship. It stands for the renewal of faith in a relationship and implies a great deal of love. The egg is the ancient symbol of Life, Rebirth, and Love. Our etched designs are created by award winning Hungarian egg artist, Olga Lorant. Using one of the oldest forms of egg decorating, she first paints the egg and then etches the designs onto the egg with a stylus. The designs are based on Transylvanian and Slovakian motifs. Each hen egg is individually gift boxed and nestled in tissue paper with a Friendship Story label on the cover. No two eggs are identical.
